I decided to work for Florida Hospital after joining another hospital in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). I desired the training in the Level 3 NICU, which cares for the more critical babies, so that I could eventually be a NICU transport nurse. I have been here for five years now.
Florida Hospital nurses seem to stand out from other nurses because they seem somewhat happier doing their jobs, they are more caring, and they are definitely more spiritual.
I have been working in the NICU for five years now, and I have made my way to a CN III on the Professional Practice Program and I will soon be trained for transport.
If someone asked me about a job at Florida Hospital, I would tell them that the people are great and they work as a team to get the job done.
