Heart Saver CPR / AED / First Aid Training Course
Heart Saver CPR / AED / First Aid Training Course is designed to prepare a wide variety of people (non-health care providers) who, as first responders, may need to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in the workplace or other similar setting, may need to use an AED (automated external defibrillator), may need to help a person who is choking, may need to provide immediate care to someone with an illness or injury before trained help arrives to take over and want or need a course completion card. Required topics include: Adult / Child CPR with mask; Adult / Child Choking; Adult / Child AED with the option of Infant CPR with mask; infant choking. First Aid Topics include: Rescuer duties, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.
The Heart Saver CPR / AED / First Aid Training Course is designed for any lay person with a duty to respond. Anyone who needs to learn CPR, the use of an AED and Basic First Aid, including corporate and retail employees, security staff, law enforcement, health and fitness staff, non-health care providers in clinical settings who interact with patients (transportation staff) and anyone who needs a course completion card in CPR, AED and First Aid.
